Safety & disclaimer

OhMyVan helps you size batteries, solar, cables and fuses quickly and rule out unsuitable choices. It is a planning aid, not a final design.

Results are based on published tables and standards (ABYC E-11, ISO 13297, NEC 690) and on typical values, but they are not a substitute for calculations done directly to the standards that apply to you, or for a qualified electrician.

The app cannot account for everything that affects a real installation, including: the actual ratings of the products you buy, loose connections or poor crimps, damaged or unsuitable cable insulation, heat from nearby equipment or bundled cables, loads added later, and mistakes in the values you enter. The app may also contain errors.

Do not use OhMyVan as the only basis for choosing cables or fuses. Have every size reviewed by a qualified electrician before installation.

OhMyVan is provided as is, without warranty. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for damage, injury or loss resulting from its use.
